Bowler runs for five scores as Bulldogs top Miners
Virgin Valley’s Dee Bowler rushed for 227 yards and five touchdowns on 29 carries Friday as the Bulldogs (5-4, 2-3 Division I-A Sunrise) earned a 41-21 home win over Sunrise Mountain (2-7, 0-5).
Virgin Valley’s Garrett Leavitt completed 15 of 18 passes for 230 yards, including a TD to Dillon Graves, who had four catches for 54 yards. Cristian Aguirre had three catches for 75 yards.
Sherman Nash rushed for 185 yards and two TDs forthe Miners.
