Brooks, Munyan help Diamondbacks beat Bengals
Desert Oasis’ Kurtis Brooks rushed for 154 yards and three first-half TDs, then Andre Munyan took over with 139 yards and three scores to lift the Diamondbacks (2-6, 1-3 Southwest) to a 44-20 home victory over Bonanza (1-7, 0-4) on Friday.
Munyan’s 96-yard TD run in the fourth quarter put the game out of reach.
Bonanza’s Jayveon Taylor rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown, and Austin Rowe kicked two field goals. Scott Dore supplied two sacks and forced a fumble.
