Cougars shut out Lions
Laughlin’s Benjamin Jacobo rushed for touchdowns of 10 and 69 yards Friday as the Cougars (3-4, 3-4 Division III Southern League) defeated host Calvary Chapel (3-4, 3-3), 26-0.
Bobby Day ran for a 13-yard TD to help the Cougars build a 14-0 halftime lead, and teammate A.J. Nelson added a 6-yard fumble return for a TD in the third quarter.
