Eagles roll past Knights

Logan Sullivan rushed for 57 yards and three touchdowns and quarterback Mitch Dolinar and halfback Jared Regan each scored two touchdowns Friday as Lake Mead defeated Quest Academy 47-0 at Shadow Ridge.

The Eagles (2-2) took control of the game early behind the strong running of Sullivan who gained 55 yards and scored all three of his touchdowns on Lake Mead’s first three possessions. The Knights (0-4) were unable to gain any consistency on offense and didn’t gain a first down until late in the first half.

Regan scampered around end for a 38-yard touchdown just before the end of the first half to give Lake Mead 27-0 halftime lead.

The Quest offense started the second half with its best drive of the game sparked by the running of Tomas Gayman, who led the Knights with 61 yards rushing. Unfortunately that drive ended with a turnover and the Knights never threatened again.

Regan scored on a 25-yard fumble return, and Dolinar scored on runs of 6 and 37 yards in the second half for the Eagles.
