Hurricane topples Legacy
Hurricane, Utah (3-0) pulled away from a 15-15 halftime tie to beat visiting Legacy 43-34 in its season opener on Friday.
Charles Julian rushed for 197 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries for the Longhorns. DaMonte Bolden added 53 yards and two scores on 10 carries for Legacy, which had 367 rushing yards.
LaMarus Williams also ran for a Legacy touchdown, and quarterback Kashawn Richardson hooked up with Randy Ricks on a 72-yard scoring pass.
