Keikiokalani Misipeka runs wild, leads Silverado over Rancho

Keikiokalani Misipeka ran for 133 yards and three touchdowns as Silverado went to Rancho and won, 48-6 Friday night.

Christian Baltodano passed for 79 yards and three TDs for Silverado (4-0).

Misipeka scored on a 42-yard run on fourth-and-2 on the team’s first possession, and the Skyhawks never trailed. He added a 28-yard TD run with 8:15 to go in the first quarter, and a 38-yard sTD run with 11:30 to go in the second quarter.

Silverado’s Tyreese Newsome-Johnson had a 26-yard touchdown run on fourth down with 3:14 ooto go in the first quarter, and caught an 18-yard TD pass from Baltodano 22 seconds later after Rancho fumbled the kickoff.

Baltodano added a pair of 26-yard touchdown passes — one to Newsome-Johnso and one to Anthony Bugay — before halftime as the Skyhawks took a 48-0 lead at the break.

Rancho’s Noah Fuller had a 1-yard TD run with 1:31 to play to keep the Rams (0-4) from getting shut out.
