Late field goal lifts Virgin Valley over Sunrise Mountain
Lane Ramos kicked a field goal to give Virgin Valley’s football the lead and the Bulldogs held on for a 30-27 win over Sunrise Mountain in Mesquite on Saturday.
The Miners had a chance to tie, but missed their own field goal try late in the fourth quarter.
Easton Jensen returned a punt 30 yards for a touchdown for the Bulldogs (3-2).
The Miners fell to 2-2.
