Mathews’ TD pass gives Needles win over River Valley
Andrew Mathews’ 10-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Andrews with six minutes left lifted Needles (1-1) to a 37-30 win over River Valley (Ariz.).
The Mustangs trailed 30-29 before Andrews’ catch and a 2-point conversion gave Needles the lead.
After stopping River Valley on downs, with 2:30 to play, the Mustangs ran out the clock to clinch the win.
