McCorkle scores twice to lead Mustangs over Lions
Needles’ Kobee McCorkle scored on a 3-yard run in the first quarter, and the Mustangs (1-1, 1-0 Division III Southern) led the rest of the way to beat the host Calvary Chapel (1-2, 1-1) 32-15 on Friday.
Jason Nevarov rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown for Needles, while McCorkle finished with 52 yards and two scores.
A.J. Davis powered Calvary Chapel, rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.
