McKinney, Golden Eagles rout Round Mountain
Tyriq McKinney threw a touchdown pass and had a 77-yard TD run Friday as Spring Mountain’s football team rolled to a 78-0 win over visiting Round Mountain.
The Golden Eagles (3-1, 2-0 Division IV Southern) forced six turnovers, scored three defensive touchdowns and had three safeties. Spring Mountain, which led 54-0 at the half, also scored twice on special teams.
Round Mountain is 2-3, 1-2.
