Nacua’s all-around game leads Patriots

Liberty's Kai Nacua rushed for two touchdowns, passed for one and caught a scoring pass Friday as the third-ranked Patriots (8-1, 5-0 Southeast) dominated visiting Foothill (3-6, 2-3), 48-25.
Nacua gained 72 yards rushing and 111 yards receiving. Niko Kapeli rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown, all in the first half, and Liberty finished with 301 yards on the ground. Austin Fitzgerald kicked six conversions.
Foothill’s Jalen Shepard threw three TD passes to Jordan Primo. Shepard passed for 206 yards, with Primo compiling 113.
