Pahranagat Valley shuts out Tonopah in first round of Class 1A postseason
Preston Higbee threw for 111 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 101 yards and three touchdowns as Pahranagat Valley’s football team blanked the Muckers on Friday, 44-0 in the first round of the Class 1A state tournament in Alamo.
Brodey Maxwell and Stockton Maxwell both caught touchdown passes for the Panthers (10-0).
Tonopah ended its season 5-6.
