Panthers top Golden Eagles in Division IV showdown
Tabor Maxwell accounted for five touchdowns to lead Pahranagat Valley to a 36-24 home win over Spring Mountain on Friday.
Maxwell ran for 142 yards and two touchdowns and completed 8 of 27 passes for 125 yards and three touchdowns for the Panthers (6-0, 4-0 Division IV Southern League). Cody Williams added three receptions for 66 yards and two scores for Pahranagat Valley, which led 24-6 at halftime.
Diquan Spiller threw three touchdowns, including two to Deonze Paster, for the Golden Eagles (4-2, 3-1).
