ROUNDUP: Faith Lutheran rallies to win opener on road

Jacob Deaville’s 36-yard touchdown pass to Sean Bishel in the second quarter Saturday helped Faith Lutheran’s football team rally for a season-opening 14-10 win at Lutheran (Colo.) in Parker, Colo.
The Crusaders trailed 10-0 after the first quarter and began their comeback on Deaville’s 60-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and took the lead for good on the scoring pass.
Deaville completed 11 of 17 passes for 141 yards and had 54 yards on four carries.
Greg Benson was 7 of 9 for 30 yards for Faith Lutheran, which had 321 total yards. Anthony Pryatel-Farmer had nine catches for 75 yards for the Crusaders.
Calvary Christian (Calif.) 37, Calvary Chapel 22 — At Chula Vista, Calif., A.J. Davis ran for three fourth-quarter touchdowns, but the Lions couldn’t complete the comeback in the season opener for both teams.
The Royal Knights used three second-quarter scores to build a 19-0 halftime lead and extended the margin to 31-0 early in the fourth quarter before the Lions scored.
