Spiller, Golden Eagles rout Beatty
Diquan Spiller threw two touchdown passes and ran for three more scores Friday to lead host Spring Mountain’s football team to a 66-8 rout of Beatty.
Spiller connected with D’Quan Porchia on both TDs for the Golden Eagles (1-1, 1-0 Division IV Southern), who also got touchdown runs from Kevion Berry, Malachai Moten and Deonze Paster.
Tyriq McKinney had a 72-yard kickoff return for the Golden Eagles, who led 48-8 at halftime.
Beatty is 1-1, 0-1.
