Sundevils rall to top Miners
Eldorado’s Justin Brown rushed for 209 yards and two touchdowns as the Sundevils (1-0) rallied from a 21-14 halftime deficit to beat visiting Sunrise Mountain (1-2) 41-28 on Friday.
Josh Brown rushed for three touchdowns and passed for 165 yards, including a tying 20-yard TD to junior Benjamin Martinez in the third quarter.
Sunrise Mountain QB Chris Moore ran for two touchdowns and running back Sherman Nash also scored twice, including a 90-yard kickoff return.
The Sundevils’ defense limited Moore to one second-half completion.
