Tabor Maxwell accounts for seven TDs as Panthers beat Muckers
Pahranagat Valley’s Tabor Maxwell threw five touchdown passes and ran for two more scores Friday to lead the Panthers to a 64-6 road win over Tonopah.
Maxwell had 94 yards rushing on 16 carries and finished 11-for-26 for 243 yards passing for Pahranagat Valley, which led 36-6 at halftime.
Shawn Wadsworth had seven receptions for 166 yards and three TDs, and Christian Higbee caught two touchdown passes for the Panthers (3-0, 1-0 Division IV Southern).
Scotty May, who had 28 yards rushing and 23 yards receiving, scored on a 22-yard run in the second quarter for Tonopah (2-1, 0-1 Southern).
Quarterback Tanner Otteson completed 10 of 19 passes for 97 yards and an interception for the Muckers.
