Williams’ five touchdowns propel Stars past Lutheran
Junior running back Kobe Williams scored five touchdowns Friday to lead Agassi Prep’s football team to a 59-0 win over Lutheran (Calif.) at Rancho.
Williams scored four times during the first quarter on runs of 46, 54, 10 and 68 yards. His fifth touchdown came on an 85-yard punt return just before halftime.
Stephan Laushaul returned an interception 82 yards for a score, and sophomore Jonas Patterson added a 34-yard punt return touchdown for Agassi Prep, which scored five of its nine touchdowns of plays of at least 50 yards and had 302 rushing yards.
The Stars (5-2) held the Knights to minus-1 yard rushing.
