GOLF: Boulder City’s Leavitt shoots 2-under at Las Vegas National
Garrett Leavitt carded a 2-under-par 69 at Las Vegas National on Tuesday to earn medalist honors and help Boulder City’s boys golf team win a Sunrise League match.
Hunter Ulibarri added a 78, and Kyler Atkinson shot 79 for the Eagles, who had a team score of 408. Moapa Valley was second at 454, followed by Virgin Valley at 465 and Chaparral at 515.
Virgin Valley’s Hogan Fowles shot 77.
Moapa Valley’s Jacob Causey had a 78.
