Cougars claim win in three-team meet
Natalie Yamamoto carded a 2-under-par 34 to lead Coronado’s girls golf team to victory in a three-team meet at Badlands.
The Cougars shot 168 as a team, to beat Green Valley (177) and Palo Verde (178).
Green Valley’s Alex Kaui was the medalist with a 32, and teammate Sarah Thomas added a 35.
Coronado’s Olivia Greenwald and Palo Verde’s Amanda Ryu each shot 41.
