Wolverines’ Thomas earns medalist honors

Henderson International’s Sarah Thomas carded a 7-over-par 78 at Las Vegas National on Thursday to earn medalist honors in a Class 3A girls golf match.

Virgin Valley won the team competition with a score of 398, four strokes better than Boulder City, which was the only other school to field a full team.

Boulder City’s Bridget Ward had a 94.

Shaina Snyder and Felicia Baeza each shot 95 for the Bulldogs.
