BOYS SOCCER: Buckley breaks tie, gives Crusaders win over Rattlers

Logan Buckley’s goal with three minutes remaining Monday broke a 1-1 tie and lifted Faith Lutheran’s boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over visiting Mojave.

Harut Khachoyan also scored for the Crusaders.

Antonio Perez had Mojave’s goal.

Desert Pines 1, Tech 0 — At Tech, Luis Rivera scored a second-half goal to give the Jaguars the victory over the Roadrunners.

Centennial 4, Arbor View 0 — At Centennial, Manny Lopez had two goals, and the Bulldogs did all of their scoring in the first half in a win over the Aggies.

Cobi Hunt added a goal and two assists, and Pablo Gatti also scored for Centennial.

Tanner Polley was in goal for the shutout.

Canyon Springs 2, Virgin Valley 2 — At Mesquite, Moises Medina had a goal and an assist to help the Bulldogs tie the Pioneers.

Efren Rodriguez also scored for Virgin Valley.

Gasper Gonzalez and Jonathan Martinez scored for Canyon Springs.

Chaparral 6, Moapa Valley 0 — At Overton, Gerardo Skewes scored twice and combined with Juan Romero in goal on the shutout as the Cowboys blanked the Pirates.

Ricardo Romero had two goals and an assist, and Lester Izquierdo added a goal and an assist for Chaparral. Omar Delgado also scored for the Cowboys, who got two assists from Cesar Perez.

Pahrump Valley 9, Cheyenne 1 — At Pahrump, Nolan Toomer scored three goals, and Nick Nelson and Jose Nunez each had two goals and two assists as the Trojans routed the Desert Shields.

Raul Maldonado had two goals and an assist for Pahrump.

Omar Garcia scored for the Desert Shields.

Sunrise Mountain 7, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Jose Arellano scored three goals, and Musio Jimenez added two goals as the Miners routed the Eagles.

Raciel Jimenez-Vazquez added a goal and an assist, and Herbie Lopez also scored for Sunrise Mountain, which got two assists from Carlos Herrera.

Lopez and Carlos Cruz combined on the shutout.

Clark 8, The Meadows 0 — At The Meadows, Alexis Lopez and Jose Munoz each scored two goals as the Chargers shut out the Mustangs.

Omar Barriga, Jose Martinez, and Carlos Ramos each added a goal for Clark, which also benefited from an own goal.

Ivan Lopez and Juan Sanchez-Moran each had two assists for Clark.

Western 9, Adelson School 0 — At Western, Bruno Aleman scored three goals, and Isaac Arellano added two goals and two assists to help the Warriors blank the Lions.

Martin Vasquez had a goal and four assists, and Nathaniel Reyes, Hugo Caldera and Edwin Morales also scored for Western.

Aldair Haro and Manuel Guillermo combined on the shutout.
