BOYS SOCCER: Hollimon powers Patriots past Cougars
Joey Hollimon had two goals and an assist Thursday to lead Liberty’s boys soccer team to a 3-1 home win over Coronado.
Alex Camacho also scored for the Patriots.
Shawn Kinney scored for the Cougars.
Bonanza 2, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Bryan Panameno and Frank Keller each scored once to help the Bengals edge the Diamondbacks.
Marcellous Curtis scored for Desert Oasis.
Pahrump Valley 2, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, Nick Nelson and Nolan Toomer each scored once to help the Trojans earn a tie with the Desert Shields.
John Ramos and Oscar Navarro scored for Cheyenne.
Arbor View 1, Centennial 1 — At Centennial, the Bulldogs rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit and scored with 15 minutes remaining to earn a draw with the Aggies.
Arbor View’s Dalton Rice scored in the first half.
Cimarron-Memorial 1, Clark 1 — At Clark, Kevin Andrade’s goal midway through the second half enabled the Spartans to tie the Chargers.
Jose Martinez scored a first-half goal for Clark.
Mojave 3, Spring Valley 2 — At Spring Valley, Antonio Perez scored two goals to help the Rattlers nip the Grizzlies.
Eduardo Luna also scored, and Cristopher Pulido had two assists for Mojave.
Dennis Tayou scored two goals for Spring Valley.
Western 3, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Eduardo Arellano, Martin Vasquez and Brayan Muro each scored a first-half goal to lift the Warriors by the Crusaders.
Aidan Gross scored for Faith Lutheran.
Sierra Vista 3, Adelson School 0 — At Sierra Vista, Joseph Pacheco scored twice to help the Mountain Lions down the Lions.
Adam Felipe Dumo added a goal, and Erick Candido had two assists for Sierra Vista.
Alberto Vazquez was in goal for the shutout.
Valley 5, Canyon Springs 3 — At Valley, Eric Sanchez scored four goals to power the Vikings past the Pioneers.
Marco Gonzales had a goal and two assists for Valley, and teammate Sebastian Salcido added two assists.
Luis Macias, Daniel Moran and Juan Cabral scored for Canyon Springs.
Desert Pines 6, Moapa Valley 0 — At Desert Pines, Oswaldo Medina scored two goals to lift the Jaguars over the Pirates.
Rodrigo Andrade, Angel Vazquez, Jordy Cortez and Marco Vivero also scored for Desert Pines.
Daniel Mendoza made four saves to earn the shutout.
Las Vegas 9, Silverado 0 — At Silverado, Daniel Nunez scored five goals to lead the Wildcats by the Skyhawks.
Alexis Barrios added two goals and three assists for Las Vegas. Axel Catalan had a goal and two assists, and Marc Sotelo supplied a goal and an assist for the Wildcats, who got two assists from Elias Torres.
Enrique Adame was in goal for the shutout.
