BOYS SOCCER: Jaguars overcome two-goal deficit to tie Virgin Valley

Genaro Corona scored two second-half goals Wednesday to help the Desert Pines boys soccer team rally for a 3-3 tie with Virgin Valley in Mesquite.

Henry Palacios scored the other goal for the Jaguars, which trailed 3-1 at halftime.

Efren Rodriguez scored two goals for the Bulldogs, who also got a goal from Ulises Flores and two assists from Moises Medina.

Cimarron-Memorial 1, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, Nico DeLaTorre’s second-half goal allowed the Spartans to tie the Longhorns.

Jose Ramirez scored a first-half goal for Legacy.

Bishop Gorman 2, Centennial 0 — At Centennial, Tristan Blackmon had a goal and an assist to help the Gaels down the Bulldogs.

Cobi DeLeon also scored for Gorman.

Josh Holland earned the shutout for the Gaels.

Pahrump Valley 3, Adelson School 1 — At Pahrump, Jose Nunez scored twice to lead the Trojans by the Lions.

Nick Nelson converted a penalty kick for Pahrump.

Nevo Ziv scored a second-half goal for Adelson School.

Desert Oasis 3, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Marcellous Curtis had two goals and an assist to power the Diamondbacks over the Bengals.

Eric Biorato added a goal for Desert Oasis, which led 3-0 at the half.

Damien Herrera had four saves, all in the first half, to earn the shutout.

Western 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Western, Ricardo Gonzalez, David Moctezuma and Bruno Aleman each had a goal to lift the Warriors by the Desert Shields.

Manuel Guillermo made two saves en route to the shutout.

Sunrise Mountain 3, Moapa Valley 0 — At Overton, Musio Jimenez, Carlos Herrera and Bryan Ramos each netted a goal as the Miners blanked the Pirates.

Herbie Lopez made six saves to earn the shutout.

Chaparral 5, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Alex Robledo scored two goals as the Cowboys topped the Eagles.

Jose Guitierez, Ramiro Alvarado and Gavynn Mossiah each added a goal for Chaparral.

Gerardo Skewes earned the shutout.

Clark 6, Mojave 0 — At Clark, Jose Munoz had a goal and two assists, and Eduardo Martinez and Juan Sanchez each added a goal and an assist as the Chargers blanked the Rattlers.

Jose Martinez, Oscar Mata, and Rojeilo Mata each scored a goal, and Ivan Lopez supplied two assists for Clark.

Alan Zuniga had four saves to earn the shutout for the Chargers.

Faith Lutheran 7, The Meadows 0 — At The Meadows, Logan Buckley netted two goals as the Crusaders downed the Mustangs.

Sean Kay, Tristin Tomburo, Michael Manfredi, Chase Carey and Chase Pavlov each added a goal for Faith Lutheran.

Phil Starcher and Carter Bishop combined for the shutout.
