BOYS SOCCER: Las Vegas strikes late to tie Legacy on the road
Jonathan Macedo-Castellano scored in the final minute to help Las Vegas’ boys soccer team tie host Legacy 3-3 on Wednesday.
Mario Diaz and Roberto Sotomayor also scored for Las Vegas, with Macedo-Castellano, Fernando Gomez and Maithan Gomez collecting assists.
Canyon Springs 9, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Canyon Springs, Brahyan Bernal had three goals to lead the Pioneers to a victory over the Crusaders.
Edgar Muniz had two goals for Canyon Springs. Chris Lopez, Jesus Gonzalez, Edgar Quintero-Rodriguez and Alejandro Perez all had a goal.
Felix Dominguez-Vera had the shutout for the Pioneers.
Lopez, Gonzalez and Quintero-Rodriguez each had an assist.
Coronado 6, Arbor View 2 — At Arbor View, Preston Judd had a hat trick to lead the Cougars past the Aggies.
John Lynam, Alfredo Diaz and Grant Smyth added a goal apiece for the Cougars, who scored four goals in the second half.
Zachary Breaz and Nicklaus Dongmann scored goals for the Aggies.
Centennial 3, Green Valley 1 — At Centennial, Tyler Rogge had two goals and Jacob Garcia notched two assists as the Bulldogs topped the Gators.
Manny Lopez had a goal and Caden Usiak added an assist for Centennial.
Estevan Uribe scored on an assist from Leonardo Cipili for Green Valley.
Sunrise Mountain 5, Chaparral 2 — At Sunrise Mountain, Musio Jimenez-Vazquez had two goals and an assist to lead the Miners over the Cowboys.
Jose Arreola scored twice, and Johnny Pedraza added a goal for Sunrise Mountain, which led 3-1 at the half.
Ivan Topete and Jason Ramos had Chaparral’s goals.
Desert Oasis 2, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Ethan Kovach and Ivan Biorato scored to help the Diamondbacks edge the Trojans.
Bishop Gorman 5, Liberty 1 — At Gorman, the Gaels coasted past the Patriots.
Bishop Gorman built a 2-1 halftime lead and poured it on in the second half with three more goals.
