BOYS SOCCER: Omar Miranda’s last-minute goal gives Chaparral win

Omar Miranda scored with a minute to play Wednesday to give Chaparral’s boys soccer team a 2-1 win over host Boulder City.

Freshman Jose Ojeda scored on an assist from Angelo Grossi in the first half for the Cowboys.

Sebastian Balmer scored for Boulder City.

Clark 2, Bonanza 2 — At Bonanza, the Chargers and Bengals played to a tie.

Joel Makwashi and Kevin Medina each had a goal for Clark. Tesfu Mebretom had two assists for the Chargers.

Fidel Ordaz and Efrain Mayorga scored for Bonanza.

Silverado 0, Green Valley 0 — At Green Valley, the Skyhawks and the Gators played to a scoreless tie.

Deven Scott had seven saves to get the shutout for Green Valley. Josh Vigil had five saves for Silverado.

Coronado 2, Liberty 1 — At Liberty, John Lynam and Harrison Mirolla each had a goal as the Cougars edged the Patriots.

Preston Judd had both assists for Coronado.

R.J. Soriano scored for Liberty with five minutes to play to break up the shutout.

Del Sol 4, Virgin Valley 0 — At Del Sol, Diego Flores-Diaz supplied a goal and two assists en route to an easy win over the Bulldogs.

Diego Nieves had a goal and an assist for Del Sol, which scored three first-half goals. Oscar Morales and Ruben Ortiz also scored for the Dragons.

Goalie Jesus Gallardo earned the shutout.

Durango 7, Desert Oasis — At Durango, Marcos Delgado and Alfredo Robles-Rodriguez each had two goals and an assist to help the Trailblazers top the Diamondbacks.

Oscar Rodriguez added two goals, and teammate Jamie Munguia scored once for Durango, which led 1-0 at the half.

Paolo Sarnataro made five saves to get the shutout.

Bishop Gorman 4, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Justin Rasmussen had two goals and two assists to lead the Gaels over the Mountain Lions.

Jeffrey Wright and Larson Altschul also scored for Gorman, which scored three times in the second half to pull away.

Daniel Perez had a first-half goal for Sierra Vista.

Tech 7, Moapa Valley 0 — At Tech, Armando Villanueva, Jesse DeLaTorre and Alex Mejia each scored two goals to power the Roadrunners past the Pirates.

Andres Santana added a goal and an assist for Tech. Eduardo Gomez had two assists for the Roadrunners.

Yobani Garcia-Benitez and Kenny Flores combined on the shutout.

Spring Valley 11, Cheyenne 1 — At Spring Valley, Bum Cho and David Van Hoose each had two goals and two assists, and Ethan Orme finished with two goals and an assist in the Grizzlies’ victory over the Desert Shields.

Jose Lopez added two goals, and Blake Pride-Zorn notched a goal and an assist for Spring Valley, which led 4-0 at halftime.

Miguel Rodriguez and Dominic Velasco also scored, and Octavio Montenegro and Brennan Stevens each had an assist for the Grizzlies.

Brian Orellana scored Cheyenne’s goal off an assist from Otoniel Hernandez.

Foothill 16, Basic 2 — At Foothill, Reagan Mugume had four goals and an assist as the Falcons routed the Wolves.

Kade Killian and Jake Ortone each added two goals for Foothill, which led 10-0 at the half.

Becca Nyonyintono had a goal and five assists for the Falcons, and Trent Milne and Bryen Estes each added a goal and an assist.

Isaac Olsen, Noah Morris, Alejandro Casula, Will Nolasco and Hunter Huber also scored for the Falcons.

Joseph Escobar and Brayden Hummel scored for Basic.
