Christof Glad scored in the first half, and Moises Medina tacked on a second-half goal Thursday as host Virgin Valley’s boys soccer team shocked defending Sunset Region champion Palo Verde, 2-0.

Sierra Vista 3, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Sierra Vista, Keba Jobbe, Daniel Perez and Calvin Aguirre each scored once as the Mountain Lions blanked the Crusaders.
Donovan McCree made two saves en route to the shutout for Sierra Vista.
Centennial 1, Clark 0 — At Centennial, Manny Lopez’s goal with 15 minutes left in the match lifted the Bulldogs by the Chargers.
Jacob Mays made 10 saves to earn the shutout for Centennial.
Arbor View 3, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Arbor View, Dalton Rice had a hat trick to lead the Aggies past the Mustangs.
Rice scored two goals on assists from Niko Dongmann, and one from Alfredo Carrera for Arbor View.
Goalkeeper Gabe Sano earned the shutout with five saves.
Adelson School 5, Moapa Valley 2 — At Overton, Dylan Soresman scored three goals to lead the Lions past the Pirates.
Nevo Ziv scored twice, and Samuel Shain had an assist for the Lions, who scored on two penalty kicks and three set pieces.
Israel Rubio had a goal and an assist to lead the Pirates.
Brian Robles also scored for the Pirates.
Foothill 4, Las Vegas 1 — At Foothill, Becca Rice scored two goals and supplied two assists to lead the Falcons by the Wildcats.
Isaac Olsen and Michael Carnahan each added a goal for Foothill.

Bonanza 4, Spring Valley 2 — At Spring Valley, Juan Rodriguez, Gio Hernandez, Adner Lezama and Kelvin Villchez scored second-half goals as the Bengals rallied to defeat the Grizzlies.
Patrick Falkensammer scored on a free kick, and Octavio Montenegro scored on an assist from David Van Hoose for Spring Valley, which led 2-0 at halftime.
Sunrise Mountain 2, Eldorado 1 — At Eldorado, Cristian Cerritteno had goal and an assist as the Miners edged the Sundevils.
Musio Jimenez-Vazquez also scored for Sunrise Mountain.
Eddie Mercado scored on a first-half penalty kick for Eldorado.
Del Sol 2, Durango 0 — At Durango, Ruben Ortiz and Erik Serrano scored second-half goals as the Dragons topped the Trailblazers.
