Roundup: Bryan Macias, Gabriel Caro lead Chaparral
Chaparral’s Bryan Macias and Gabriel Caro each scored twice Wednesday to power the visiting Cowboys by Virgin Valley’s boys soccer team, 5-2.
Alexander Caro-Herrera scored for Chaparral, which had four second-half goals.
Angel Gonzalez and Ty Bryant each scored a goal for Virgin Valley.
Sunrise Mountain 7, Sky Pointe 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Jonzo Jimenez-Vasquez and Angel Arreola each had two goals and an assist to power the Miners to a rout of the Eagles.
Luis Luna had a goal and two assists, and Branson Suarez and Boris Rodas also each scored once Sunrise Mountain, which led 3-0 at halftime.
Estiben Olandez supplied two assists, and goalkeepers Enrique Perez and Cristian Morales split the shutout for the Miners.
Boulder City 5, Moapa Valley 3 — At Overton, the Eagles scored four first-half goals and went on to down the Pirates.
Bryan Robles, Zach Bailey, and Sebastean Gutierrez each scored once for Moapa Valley.
