Roundup: Eldorado rallies to knock off Valley

Eldorado’s boys soccer team scored three second-half goals on Thursday to rally for a 3-1 road victory over Valley.

Cipriano Rodriguez scored twice, and Ramiro Andrade also scored for the Sundevils, who trailed 1-0 at the half.

Roberto Soto had two assists for Eldorado.

Carlos Mendez scored on an assist from Joseph Cruz for the Vikings.

Desert Pines 4, Western 3 — At Desert Pines, the Jaguars scored two second-half goals to edge the Warriors.

Joseph Musengo, Bryan Vazquez-Rojas, Erick Santillan and Nestor Vivero-Mera each had a goal for Desert Pines.

Joel Sanchez added two assists for the Jaguars, who trailed 3-2 at the half.

Juan Arredondo-Alvarez, Julio Flores and Juan Estrada each scored a goal for Western.

Centennial 1, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Cimarron, Kevin Andrade scored in the 70th minute for the Spartans to force a draw against the Bulldogs.

Diego Zacarias assisted on Andrade’s goal.

Jacob Mecham broke a scoreless tie in the 60th minute with a goal for Centennial, assisted by Jordan Kennedy.

Shadow Ridge 3, Arbor View 1 — At Arbor View, Miguel Trujillo had a goal and two assists as the Mustangs pulled away from the Aggies.

Nikolay Engels and Lealand Schmidt scored for the Mustangs, who scored all their goals in the second half.

Nicklaus Dongmann scored for Arbor View.

Palo Verde 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Antonio Gomez had a goal and an assist to lead the Panthers over the Longhorns.

Presten Manthey and Michael Venezia also scored for the Panthers.

Hudson Huckfeldt recorded the shutout with three saves, including one on a penalty kick.

Sunrise Mountain 9, Cheyenne 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Bryan Martinez had two goals and two assists as the Miners routed the Desert Shields.

Felipe Lucero added two goals, and Angel Arreola had a goal and an assist for Sunrise Mountain. Alejandro Meza-Vazquez, Juan Guzman and Angel Gonzalez each scored once for the Miners, and Jonzo Jimenez-Vasquez had three assists.

Goalkeeper Jordi Garibay had the shutout.

Rancho 2, Canyon Springs 0 — At Rancho, the Rams scored two second-half goals to beat the Pioneers.
