ROUNDUP: Frischknecht leads way as Bulldog boys blitz Mustangs

Blake Frischknecht tallied three goals and three assists Monday to lead Centennial’s boys soccer team to a 9-1 rout of visiting Shadow Ridge.
Erik Christiansen added two goals for the Bulldogs, who have scored 14 goals in their last two matches after starting the season with one goal in their first three contested matches.
Grant Gonzales, Tony Sanchez, Abraham Zacarias and Sean Jenne also scored for Centennial.
Juan Gutierrez scored the Mustangs’ lone goal.
Palo Verde 1, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Palo Verde, Matej Kustura converted a penalty kick six minutes into the match for the only goal as the Panthers edged the Spartans.
Palo Verde goalkeeper Colton McCann made four saves to earn the shutout.
Cheyenne 1, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Kellogg-Zahre Park, Michael Figiel scored early in the second half to give the Desert Shields a tie with the Crusaders.
Kurtis DeSousa scored a first-half goal for Faith Lutheran.
Legacy 2, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Eric Bojado and Saul Aguirre each scored a goal to lift the Longhorns past the Aggies.
Ramon Carvajal was in goal for the shutout.
Spring Valley 6, Durango 1 — At Spring Valley, Ricky Gonzalez notched a goal and four assists as the Grizzlies pulled away in the second half to beat the Trailblazers.
Joseph Padfield scored two goals, and Seth McGinn, Chris Kimmich and Matthew Riderelli added a goal apiece for Spring Valley, which led 1-0 at the half.
Ryan Benavente scored Durango’s goal on a penalty kick.
Clark 1, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Leo Baltazar scored midway through the second half to help the Chargers to a tie with the Diamondbacks.
Jarom Stuart scored a first-half goal for Desert Oasis.
Sierra Vista 3, Pahrump Valley 2 — At Pahrump, Jorge Echavarria, Truitt Evans and Milan Popovic each scored a goal to help the Mountain Lions nip the Trojans.
Bryce Moser and Jason Garcia scored for Pahrump.
Bishop Gorman 3, Western 1 — At Gorman, Michael Gray scored the go-ahead goal in the second half as the Gaels rallied past the Warriors.
Max Anderson and Jason Eng also scored for the Gaels.
Joshua Ballard converted a penalty kick to give Western a 1-0 halftime lead.
Canyon Springs 15, Moapa Valley 0 — At Canyon Springs, Erik Ruiz, Roger Lopez and Victor Ginez each scored three goals as the Pioneers routed the Pirates.
Jose Vidal and Ezequiel Chavarria added two goals apiece, and Tito Martinez and Jonathan Jaurequi also scored for Canyon Springs.
Sixto Lucero was in goal to earn the shutout.
Rancho 5, Boulder City 2 — At Rancho, Pedro Marquez and Juan Acosta scored two goals apiece to lift the Rams past the Eagles.
Elligo Herrera also scored for Rancho.
Trevor Montgomery and Jeremy Estes scored for the Eagles.
Desert Pines 5, Virgin Valley 0 — At Desert Pines, Victor Favela recorded two goals, and Francisco Lopez added a goal and an assist as the Jaguars blanked the Bulldogs.
Cruz Cortez and Sergio Gonzales also scored for Desert Pines.
