ROUNDUP: Lopez’s two goals crucial in Shadow Ridge girls comeback victory over Spartans

Taylor Lopez scored two goals Wednesday to help Shadow Ridge’s girls soccer team erase a 2-0 halftime deficit and down visiting Cimarron-Memorial, 4-2.

Gabby Gonzales and Brianna Haworth each added a goal for the Mustangs.

Ryann Abeyta and Tessa Sanchez scored for the Spartans.

Palo Verde 2, Centennial 1 — At Palo Verde, Alexa D’Acunto and Serenity Grim each scored a second-half goal to help the Panthers nip the Bulldogs.

Christene Whitaker had two assists for Palo Verde.

Shannelle McDonnell scored for Centennial.

Eldorado 6, Valley 1 — At Valley, Jacquie Avila had two goals to lead the Sundevils past the Vikings.

Vanessa Sanabria, Autumn Moore, Cristal Mendoza and Kim Olivares each added a goal for Eldorado.

Paige Tarr scored for Valley.

Green Valley 3, Coronado 0 — At Coronado, Cayla Imahara, Lauren Avecilla and Kayla Anderson each scored a goal as the Gators blanked the Cougars.

Kiyana Lopez earned the shutout for Green Valley.

Canyon Springs 4, Clark 0 — At Canyon Springs, Rosaura Guerrero-Escobedo had two goals and an assist to lead the Pioneers to a win over the Chargers.

Erika Bracho and Leticia Godoy added goals for Canyon Springs.

Jazmin Leon made five saves en route to the shutout.

BOYS

Palo Verde 3, Centennial 3 — At Centennial, Sean Jenne scored twice, and Eric Sanchez tallied a goal and an assist to help the Bulldogs rally to earn a tie with the Panthers.

Will Cleland, Chase Gardner and Kyler Obata scored for Palo Verde, which led 2-0 at the half.

Green Valley 2, Coronado 2 — At Coronado, Gitai Gazala scored a second-half goal to allow the Gators to tie the Cougars.

Gazala scored twice for Green Valley.

Chase Rhinehart had both goals for Coronado.

Eldorado 8, Valley 1 — At Eldorado,  Andres Lua tallied three goals and an assist, and Francisco Santiago scored twice as the Sundevils routed the Vikings.

Chris Perez had a goal and three assists for Eldorado, which also got goals from Juan Contreras and David Magana.

Festus Ndoreraho scored for Valley.
