ROUNDUP: Panos’ goal powers Centennial boys past Spartans

Mason Panos scored a first-half goal Wednesday to help Centennial’s boys soccer team post a 1-0 win over visiting Cimarron-Memorial.

Goalkeeper Aiden Parker earned the shutout for the Bulldogs.

Bishop Gorman 4, Desert Oasis 1 — At Gorman, Kyle Kelley scored twice, and Blake Balelo had a goal and three assists as the Gaels topped the Diamondbacks.

Jorge Paez also scored for Gorman.

Alejandro Jimenez tallied Desert Oasis’ goal.

Legacy 2, Bonanza 0 — At Legacy, Saul Aguirre and Antonio Velazquez each scored a goal to power the Longhorns past the Bengals.

Daniel Diaz made five saves to earn the shutout.

Tech 2, Desert Pines 1 —
At Tech, Hugo Flores scored the go-ahead goal in the second half to help the Roadrunners earn the win over the Jaguars.

Julio Vargas had a goal and an assist for Tech.

Faith Lutheran 3, Mojave 0 — At Faith Lutheran, the Crusaders got goals from Michael Manfredi, Sam Stevens and Harut Khachoyan and blanked the Rattlers.

D’Khari Hicks had two assists for Faith Lutheran.

Carter Bishop earned the shutout, recording eight saves.

Chaparral 1, Moapa Valley 1 —
At Overton, Cesar Perez scored a second-half goal to give the Cowboys a tie with the Pirates.

Ryan Van der Zwet scored in the first half for Moapa Valley.

Boulder City 1, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Boulder City, Nicholas Walker’s second-half goal gave the Eagles the win over the Miners.

Austin Roefer recorded the shutout for Boulder City.

Clark 5, The Meadows 0 — 
At The Meadows, Daniel Barauma supplied two goals and an assist as the Chargers routed the Mustangs.

Victor Alvarez added a goal and two assists for Clark, which got a goal each from Jose Martinez and Alexis Lopez.

Western 13, Adelson School 0 — At Western, Luis Ponce had five goals and six assists as the Warriors blitzed the Lions.

Adrian Minjares scored twice, and Jose Castillo had a goal and two assists for Western, which also got goals from Fernando Caro, Miguel Ibanez, Edgar Lujano, Saul Mirales and Yovanny Medina.

Marvin Rosales had three assists.

Cheyenne at Pahrump Valley —
At Pahrump. the Desert Shields’ match against the Trojans was postponed. A make-up date has not been scheduled.
