ROUNDUP: Quackenbush, Spartans rout Mustangs
Garrick Quackenbush had a goal and two assists Wednesday to help Cimarron-Memorial’s boys soccer team to a 4-0 home win over Shadow Ridge.
Nico DeLaTorres and Oso Valencia each added a goal and an assist, and Riley Johnson also scored for the Spartans.
Eddie Ortiz and Richard Crews combined on the shutout.
Las Vegas 2, Coronado 1 — At Coronado, Abraham Paz and Alexis Berrios each tallied a goal to help the Wildcats nip the Cougars.
Holden Smyth scored on a free kick for Coronado.
Canyon Springs 3, Western 3 — At Canyon Springs, Jonathan Martinez scored three goals to allow the Pioneers to earn a tie with the Warriors.
Edgar Lujano scored twice, and Christopher Orellana added a goal for Western, which got two assists from Luis Ponce.
Rancho 5, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Aaron Ortiz scored two goals to lead the Rams past the Miners.
Miguel Dias-Ortiz, Hector Martinez and Adrian Clavijo all scored for the Rams.
Virgin Valley 9, Adelson School 2 — At Mesquite, Moises Medina racked up three goals and an assist, and Tony Villalobos scored twice to help the Bulldogs rout the Lions.
Gabe Medina had a goal and three assists, and Juan Ulloa supplied a goal and an assist for Virgin Valley. Efren Rodriguez and Marcelo Lara each added a goal for the Bulldogs.
Mendy Berrebi scored twice for Adelson School.
GIRLS
Green Valley 2, Foothill 0 — At Green Valley, Kayla Anderson and Paulina Buskas each scored a second-half goal to lift the Gators over the Falcons.
Kiyana Lopez and Nicole Dunn combined on the shutout.
Canyon Springs 10, Western 2 — At Western, Erika Eracho scored four goals, and teammate Leticia Godoy added two goals and an assist as the Pioneers cruised past the Warriors.
Rosaura Guerrero-Escobedo scored twice for Canyon Springs, which got a goal and two assists from Diamond Larson and a goal from Ashlee Strong.
Frida Herrera netted two goals to lead Western.
Rancho 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Rancho, Chanel Eliason scored five goals, and Morgan Wilson added three goals as the Rams routed the Miners.
Vianey Bracho and Jasmine Marin each tallied a goal and two assists, Ashley Labarre had a goal and three assists, and Brenda Torres supplied five assists for Rancho. Stephanie Gomes added a goal, and goalkeepeers MacKenzie Pearson and Brandy Minniear shared the shutout for the Rams.
Virgin Valley 3, Adelson School 0 — At Mesquite, Karson Bryant scored twice to lead the Bulldogs over the Lions.
Brianna Tilton added a goal, and Emma Dodenbier had two assists for Virgin Valley.
