ROUNDUP: Roadrunners blank Silverado, keep Southeast lead

Jesus Herrera and Julio Del Real each netted a goal Tuesday to help Tech’s boys soccer team maintain its grip on first place in the Southeast League with a 2-0 win at Silverado.
Abdel Rodriquez was in goal for the shutout for the Roadrunners, who improved to 10-1-4 overall and 8-1-2 in league play.
Tech leads Del Sol by one point and Coronado by three with three matches remaining.
Del Sol 3, Liberty 0 — At Del Sol, Eric Beil and Jesse Romero each scored in the first 10 minutes of the match to spark the Dragons past the Patriots.
Beil finished with two goals, and Romero notched a goal and an assist.
Gerardo Mendoza recorded the shutout for Del Sol.
Coronado 4, Foothill 1 — At Coronado, Jesus Maciel scored twice to lift the Cougars past the Falcons.
Drew Asromsky and Jay Sutorius contributed a goal apiece for Coronado.
Christian Volesky tallied Foothill’s goal.
Green Valley 4, Basic 0 — At Green Valley, Matt Babas tallied two goals and Alejandro Pacheco added a goal and an assist as the Gators blanked the Wolves.
Daniel Valdez also had a goal, and goalkeeper Phillip McGovern recorded 10 saves to earn the shutout for Green Valley.
Valley 1, Las Vegas 1 — At Las Vegas High, the Vikings benefited from an own goal by the Wildcats in the second half to eke out a tie.
Edwin Urrutia scored in the first half for Las Vegas.
Canyon Springs 4, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Canyon Springs, Ramon Sanchez, Eric Ruiz, Luis Arroyo and Roger Lopez each scored a second-half goal as the Pioneers rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit to top the Miners.
Victor Gines had two assists for Canyon Springs.
Oscar Osuna netted Sunrise Mountain’s goal.
Eldorado 3, Rancho 0 — At Eldorado, Jesse Marta scored two goals, and Edgar Duran had two assists to lead the Sundevils past the Rams.
Aaron Vidales also scored for Eldorado.
The Sundevils’ Daniel Perez made seven saves to earn the shutout.
Desert Pines 2, Chaparral 1 — At Desert Pines, Sergio Gonzalez and Victor Favela each had a goal to lift the Jaguars to victory over the Cowboys.
Sierra Vista 8, Moapa Valley 0 — At Sierra Vista, Stefan Stefanovic and Steve Haile each scored two goals in the Mountain Lions’ rout of the Pirates.
Milan Popovic, Ivan Petrov, Alex Koilov and Max Vintilov also scored for Sierra Vista, which got two assists apiece from Popovic, Marcello Cardenas and Truitt Evans.
Francisco Cruz made two saves en route to the shutout.
GIRLS
Faith Lutheran 6, Virgin Valley 0 — At Mesquite, Dani Theraldson and Erika Manning each slotted home two goals as the Crusaders blanked the Bulldogs.
Kaitlin Becker and Marissa Fehrman also scored for Faith Lutheran.
Kelly Zufall was in goal for the shutout.
Pahrump Valley 1, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Courtney Lindsay scored the lone goal of the match with 15 minutes remaining to lift the Trojans past the Eagles.
Madzia DeSalvo made five saves to earn the shutout.
