ROUNDUP: Scott’s late goal pulls Palo Verde boys past Aggies

Mitchell Scott’s goal with 12 minutes left in the match Thursday allowed Palo Verde’s boys soccer team to scratch out a 1-0 win against visiting Arbor View.

Nishant Yadav tallied five saves in goal to earn the shutout for the Panthers.

Coronado 1, Basic 0 — At Coronado, Chance Phifer scored a second-half goal to lift the Cougars to a win over the Wolves.

Goalkeeper Kaviyon Sadrolashrafi earned the shutout with two saves for Coronado.

Del Sol 4, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Randy Delemos scored twice to help the Dragons top the Falcons.

Helmer Garcia and Erik Montes each added a goal for Del Sol.

Juan Mendoza made 11 saves to earn the shutout.

Sierra Vista 2, Spring Valley 0 — At Sierra Vista, Truitt Evans scored both goals as the Mountain Lions topped the Grizzlies.

Francisco Cruz needed to make only one save to secure the shutout.

Green Valley 5, Valley 1 —
At Green Valley, the Gators had five different players score in a win over the Vikings.

Antonio Trama, Ivan Rodriguez, Kade Kochevar, Alex Stransky and Luis Nunez all scored for Green Valley, which got two assists from Bryan Baugh.

Darian Deltorres scored for Valley.

Eldorado 5, Liberty 2 — At Eldorado, Francisco Santiago scored three goals to power the Sundevils past the Patriots.

Edgar Duran added two goals for Eldorado, which got three assists from Chris Perez.

Danny Musovski and Joey Hollimon each scored a goal for Liberty.

Rancho 8, Silverado 0 — At Rancho, Miguel Dias-Ortiz had two goals and an assist, and Aaron Ortiz added a goal and three assists as the Rams blitzed the Skyhawks.

Brandon Contreras had a goal and an assist, and Hector Martinez, David Russell, Jorge Garcia and Christopher Rodriguez-Clavel also scored for Rancho.

Faith Lutheran 8, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, D’Khari Hicks had three goals and two assists as the Crusaders routed the Lions.

Harut Khachoyan had two goals and an assist for Faith Lutheran.

Ryan Callan chipped in one goal and one assist, and Sean Kay and Michael Manfredi also scored for the Crusaders.

Carter Bishop recorded five saves to earn the shutout.

Shadow Ridge at Durango — The Mustangs and Trailblazers had their match postponed by rain. A make-up date has not yet been set.
