ROUNDUP: Short-handed Las Vegas edges Valley in boys soccer

Las Vegas scored a pair of short-handed goals late in the match Tuesday to rally for a 2-1 home win against Valley in boys soccer.

Joaquin Rivas and Angel Martinez scored for the Wildcats, who were short two players because of red cards and scored both goals with just nine players on the field.

Alan Guevare scored for the Vikings.

Eldorado 3, Rancho 0 — At Eldorado, Jonathan Cabrera, Omar Diaz and Moises Ramirez each scored, and the Sundevils took 21 shots en route to downing the Rams.

Alberto Alvarez made seven saves to earn the shutout.

Desert Pines 3, Chaparral 0 — At Desert Pines, Gerodo Romero scored two goals to lift the Jaguars over the Cowboys.

Charlie Donilla added a goal for Desert Pines. Jorge Tolin recorded the shutout.

Durango 1, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Francisco Bautista’s goal midway through the second half lifted Durango over the Grizzlies.

Jorge Arauz made five saves to earn the shutout.

Clark 12, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Salvador Bernal had seven goals and an assist as the Chargers dominated the Diamondbacks.

Angelo Soro, Juan Chavez, Osman Valiente, Kelly Byers and Jonathan Gill each added a goal for Clark.

Oscar Gamez was credited with the shutout.

Sierra Vista 3, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Sierra Vista, Peter Omosa scored the second of his three goals in the first minute of the second half to break a 1-1 tie and lead the Mountain Lions past Pahrump Valley.

Christian Djordjevic assisted on two of Omosa’s goals.

Daimen Nelson scored for the Trojans.

Bishop Gorman 3, Western 0 — At Gorman, Nick Eary, Austin Cain and Shane Thomas each scored as the Gaels blanked the Warriors.

Jake O’Rourke made eight saves to earn the shutout.

The Meadows 8, Moapa Valley 1 — At Overton, Alex Karabachev had four goals and an assist to help the Mustangs rout the Pirates.

Toby Warburton added two goals and two assists for The Meadows. Matthew Shackley and Michael Whiteside also scored for the Mustangs.

Faith Lutheran 3, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Ryan Sniezyk scored twice, and Murad Ahmad added a goal as the Crusaders blanked the Eagles.

Marc Davies got the shutout for Faith Lutheran.
