Silverado boys blank Sierra Vista
Devin Diego scored two goals and had an assist Friday to lift Silverado to a 3-0 win over Sierra Vista in a home match.
The Skyhawks scored once in the first half and put away the match with two second-half goals.
Lawrence Stokes also scored for the Skyhawks.
Justin Close made three saves to record a season-opening shutout.
