Outlook: The Patriots struggled at times last year as a young team learned on the job.

Thirteen letter winners return and should be in better stead to compete.

“It’s still a rebuilding year after taking over the program last year,” Cress said. “We look to compete in a tough division, and our goal is to make the playoffs this year.

“We have a lot of young talent mixed with some older, experienced girls. It should be a fun year to watch these girls compete.”
