GIRLS SOCCER: Barlow scores three, Panthers nab Southwest League title

Macee Barlow scored three goals Wednesday as Palo Verde’s girls soccer team captured the Southwest League title by topping visiting Legacy, 3-0.

Jordan Goyeau had three saves to earn the shutout for the Panthers.

Shadow Ridge 2, Bishop Gorman 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Lindsay Irwin and Brianna Haworth each scored in the second half to lift the Mustangs over the Gaels.

Jenna Gallagher made five saves to record the shutout.

Sunrise Mountain 3, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Brisa Pena-Martinez scored two goals, and Xitlaly Manzo added a goal as the Miners held off the Cowboys.

Leticia Ibarra scored for Chaparral.

Virgin Valley 3, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Kari Wakefield, Dalylah Chavez and Abbie Barnum each scored to lead the Bulldogs past the Eagles.

Spencer Green made five saves to record the shutout.

Del Sol 4, Moapa Valley 4 — At Overton, Estefany Gonzalez-Vargas scored three goals to help the Dragons tie the Pirates.

Astrid Rodriguez also scored for Del Sol.

Alexis Schraft had two goals, and Romina Parra and Diana Robles added a goal apiece for Moapa Valley.

Tech 4, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, Abrana Wielgosiak had two goals and an assist to lead the Roadrunners by the Jaguars.

Stephanie Rodriguez and Jacqueline Bernal also scored, and Adriana Guzman had two assists for Tech.

Estephania Perez was in goal for the shutout.

Green Valley 5, Eldorado 0 — At Green Valley, Alexis Kirson had three goals and two assists to lead the Gators by the Sundevils.

Victoria Whitehouse had a goal and an assist, and Sydney Holborrow also scored for Green Valley.

Kiyana Lopez and Ryan Sabol combined on the shutout.

Foothill 7, Basic 0 — At Foothill, Katherine Ballou scored three goals, and Jillian Vigil and Taylor Arteaga each added a goal and an assist as the Falcons routed the Wolves.

Rae Burrell and Alicia Abbud had a goal apiece, and Jamie Cook supplied two assists for Foothill.

Marisa Milne was in goal for the shutout.

Coronado 10, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Alexis Shuck scored three goals, and Kassidy Pickle had two goals and three assists to power the Cougars past the Rams.

Olivia Meza added two goals and an assist, and Ashley Thomas, Carly Young, and Abby Brown also scored for Coronado.

Shannon Heenan was in goal for the shutout.
