GIRLS SOCCER: Crusaders net two second-half goals to defeat Trojans
Emily Neighbors and Brenna Rohnkohl each scored a second-half goal Tuesday to help Faith Lutheran’s girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over visiting Pahrump Valley.
Sydney Dennis scored a late goal to lead a rally by the Trojans in the closing minutes.
Green Valley 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Alexis Kirson scored twice to help the Gators top the Wolves.
Shestan Lynam also scored for Green Valley.
Kiyana Lopez made three saves en route to the shutout.
Moapa Valley 4, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, the Pirates scored three second-half goals to pull away from the Dragons.
Bailey Bunker, Delia Rubio, Romina Parra and Jordan Morwood each had a goal for Moapa Valley, which led 1-0 at the half.
Celeste Ruiz scored for Del Sol.
Tech 5, Desert Pines 0 — At Heritage Park, Abrana Wielgosiak scored three goals to help the Roadrunners rout the Jaguars.
Kanene Mossiah added two goals, and Monica Figerora had two assists for Tech.
Estephania Perez had two saves to earn the shutout.
Virgin Valley 7, Boulder City 2 — At Mesquite, Abbie Barnum had four goals to lead the Bulldogs by the Eagles.
Kallie Graves added a goal and an assist, and Emma Dodenbier and Taylor Bryant also scored for Virgin Valley, which got two assists from Kari Wakefield.
Brooke Beckstrand and Lauren Mullins scored for Boulder City.
Sunrise Mountain 6, Chaparral 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Brisa Pena-Martinez had two goals and an assist to help the Miners down the Cowboys.
Irene Meza scored twice, and Xitlaly Manzo and Briana Torres each added a goal and an assist for Sunrise Mountain.
Christina Lark and Joselina Sosa combined on the shutout.
Foothill 7, Rancho 0 — At Foothill, Katherine Ballou had three goals and an assist, and combined with Marisa Milne in goal for a shutout as the Falcons blanked the Rams.
Sarah Vanderhoven had a goal and an assist, and Allison Stubberud, Monica Willhite and Rae Burrell also scored for Foothill. Sydnee Farrer had three assists for the Falcons.
Bishop Gorman 7, Legacy 0 — At Gorman, Hannah Borgel recorded two goals and two assists, and Janey Fielden and Gabrielle Mazarra each had two goals and an assist as the Gaels blanked the Longhorns.
Tatum Buckley added a goal for Gorman.
Jessica Anaya made one save and recorded a shutout for the Gaels.
Palo Verde 8, Durango 0 — At Durango, Hannah Coleman scored three goals, and Dakota Grim had two goals and three assists to power the Panthers by the Trailblazers.
Hannah Gunderson had a goal and two assists, and Elissa Young and Tessa Dwyer added a goal for Palo Verde.
Savannah Ornelas was in goal for the shutout.
Coronado 10, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Taylor Kornieck had three goals as the Cougars routed the Sundevils.
Ashley Thomas had two goals and an assist, and Michaela Morris and Kassidy Pickle each scored twice for Coronado, which also got a goal from Abby Brown.
Rachel Morris was in goal for the shutout.
