GIRLS SOCCER: Hannah Webster’s goal completes comeback in Bonanza win

Hannah Webster scored on a free kick from the top of the 18-yard box with about 10 minutes remaining to lift the Bonanza girls soccer team to a 2-1 victory over visiting Virgin Valley on Thursday.

Abby Martinez scored the tying goal in the second half for the Bengals off an assist from Rachell Gonzalez.

Abbie Barnum scored for the Bulldogs, who led 1-0 at halftime.

Silverado 2, Spring Valley 1 — At Silverado, Kristyn Lommason had a goal and an assist as the Skyhawks held off the Grizzlies.

Margie Farnsworth added a goal for Silverado, which led 2-0 before Spring Valley’s Mariah DeLucco scored in the closing minutes.

Sierra Vista 2, Valley 0 — At Valley, Jamie Kalaau-Sunia made seven saves as the Mountain Lions shut out the Vikings.

Juliana Isaziga and Michaela Budnick each had a second-half goal for Sierra Vista.

Tech 2, Eldorado 1 — At Tech, Alysia Mestas and Analysa Zepeda each scored a goal to lead the Roadrunners past the Sundevils.

Melissa Lopez and Valerie Webb each had an assist for Tech.

Brianna Duran scored for the Sundevils.

Durango 3, Boulder City 1 — At Boulder City, Melissa Castro and Esmerelda Buenrostro-Mendoza each had a goal and an assist to lead the Trailblazers past the Eagles.

Andrea Gondinez also scored for Durango.

Jordyn Trobiani scored for the Boulder City.

Bishop Gorman 9, Legacy 0 — At Gorman, Hannah Borgel had three goals and two assists, and Tavin Hays added three goals and one assist as the Gaels rolled past the Longhorns.

Caitlyn Rueca added a goal and an assist for Gorman, which led 9-0 at the half. Colbi Rohr and Jaden Terrana also scored for the Gaels.

Emilie Hong, who had one save, got the shutout.

Centennial 3, Western 0 — At Faith Lutheran, McKenna Stratton scored two goals to lead the Bulldogs by the Warriors in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Victoria Cera added a goal, and Addison Riddle had seven saves to record the shutout for Centennial, which led 1-0 at halftime.

Faith Lutheran 1, Cheyenne 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Mary Martinez scored midway through the second half to lift the Crusaders over the Desert Shields in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Goalkeeper Beka Lescenski made four saves to earn the shutout.

Palo Verde 5, Liberty 0 — At Green Valley, Macee Barlow had two goals and an assist, and Madison Hernandez added two goals to power the Panthers past the Patriots in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Jadyn Nogues added a goal for Palo Verde, which got three saves and a shutout from goalkeeper Quincy Lee.

Coronado 4, Legacy 1 — At Green Valley, Caitlin Shannon scored twice as the Cougars beat the Longhorns in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Brenna Heenan and Leili Rosenberg each added a goal for Coronado, and Jensen Boman had three assists.

Isabella Skrinjaric scored for Legacy.
