GIRLS SOCCER: Kornieck, Cougars blitz Foothill

Taylor Kornieck had three goals and an assist Monday to help Coronado’s girls soccer team to a 6-1 victory over visiting Foothill.

Olivia Meza added two goals and an assist for the second-ranked Cougars. Evie DiFiore had a goal and an assist, and Katelyn Moxley had two assists for Coronado.

Katherine Ballou scored for sixth-ranked Foothill.

Arbor View 5, Palo Verde 2 — At Arbor View, Allyssa Larkin had two goals and two assists as the top-ranked Aggies downed the fourth-ranked Panthers.

Deja Erickson added two goals and an assist, and Sierra Vicente scored for Arbor View, which led 3-0 at the half.

Macee Barlow had a goal and an assist for Palo Verde, and Jadyn Nogues added a goal for the Panthers.

Basic 1, Eldorado 0 — At Basic, Darby Parise scored off an assist from sasha Bodison 10 minutes into the match, and the Wolves held on to top the Sundevils.

Bryanna Johnson made four saves to earn the shutout for Basic.

Tech 2, Virgin Valley 0 — At Tech, Veronica Gonzales scored two goals to lead the Roadrunners past the Bulldogs.

Estephania Perez recorded the shutout for Tech.

Green Valley 5, Rancho 2 — At Rancho, Alexis Kirson scored five goals to lead the Gators by the Rams.

Saippress Jones had a goal and an assist for Rancho, and Tania Aguilar also scored for the Rams.

Desert Pines 3, Boulder City 0 — At Desert Pines, Lizuly Mireles scored twice to lead the Jaguars over the Eagles.

April Miguel added a goal for Desert Pines.

Maribel Mejia made four saves to earn the shutout.

Moapa Valley 6, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Alexia Schraft had two goals to lead the Pirates by the Cowboys.

Tapanga Durham, Romina Parra, Lainey Cornwall and Karen DeLuna also scored for Moapa Valley.

Leticia Ibarra scored for Chaparral.

Shadow Ridge 7, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Jessica Beck scored twice, and the Mustangs pulled away from the Longhorns.

Madison Garvin, Brianna Haworth, Adriana Mendez, Stephanie Nava and Taylore Simmons each added a goal, and Samantha Villa had two assists for Shadow Ridge, which led 1-0 at the half.

Jenna Gallagher made four saves en route to the shutout.

Sunrise Mountain 9, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Briana Torres, Miriam Galvez and Leslie Arellanos each scored twice in the Miners’ rout of the Dragons.

Miriam Mozqueda, Brisa Pena-Martinez and Claudia Saucedo each added a goal for Sunrise Mountain.

Catherine Rodriguez scored for Del Sol.

Bishop Gorman 10, Durango 1 — At Gorman, Arlie Jones had three goals and three assists to lead the Gaels past the Trailblazers.

Hannah Borgel had two goals and an assist, and Isabel Rolley also scored two goals for Gorman. Gianna Gourley had a goal and two assists, and Lindo Ono and Kenzie Carr each added a goal for the Gaels.

Laila Loring scored for Durango.
