GIRLS SOCCER: Murai’s late goal allows Crusaders to tie Spring Valley
Kayla Murai scored with 45 seconds left in the match Tuesday to help Faith Lutheran’s girls soccer team earn a 2-2 tie with visiting Spring Valley.
Kristi Chinn scored the Crusaders’ first goal.
Samantha Meyers scored twice for the Grizzlies, both on assists from Sahana Bojorquez.
Western 4, Cheyenne 3 — At Western, Ellyson Reynada scored two goals to help the Warriors edge the Desert Shields.
Citallic Resendiz had a goal and two assists, and Katherine Realegeno also scored for Western.
Yadira Erives scored twice, and Girly Tambeagbor supplied a goal and two assists for Cheyenne.
Silverado 3, Liberty 1 — At Silverado, Victoria Sanchez scored twice as the Skyhawks topped the Patriots.
Deanna Passerella added a goal for Silverado.
London Pavlica scored for Liberty.
Las Vegas 2, Canyon Springs 0 — At Las Vegas, Alyssa Mireles had a goal and an assist to lift the Wildcats to a 2-0 win over the Pioneers.
