Roundup: Alexandra Trinidad’s goal gives Sunrise Mountain win

Sunrise Mountain’s Alexandra Trinidad scored a goal in the first half, and the game-winner off a free kick in the 70th minute, to lift the Miners to a 3-2 road girls soccer win over Cheyenne on Thursday.

Briana Torres-Chavez scored a second-half goal to tie the game 2-2 for Sunrise Mountain.

Yadira Erives scored twice for the Desert Shields.

Western 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Western, Kayla Tapanes scored twice to lead the Warriors to the win over the Jaguars.

Caro Acosta added a goal for Western, and goalkeeper Nicole Declaro had three saves in the shutout.

Arbor View 4, Shadow Ridge 2 — At Shadow Ridge, Deja Erickson had two goals and an assist, and Hannah Ferrara had two goals as the Aggies defeated the Mustangs.

Neally Peters and Allyssa Larkin each contributed an assist for Arbor View.

Adriana Mendez and Kaitlyn Banks each scored once for Shadow Ridge.

Rancho 3, Canyon Springs 2 — At Canyon Springs, Saipress Jones scored three goals as the Rams edged the Pioneers.

Paula Lopez and Mallory Arnold scored for Canyon Springs.

Centennial 4, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Centennial, Dawn Frederick scored two goals, and Savannah Tarone had two assists as the Bulldogs beat the Spartans.

Molly Rosas had a goal and an assist for the Bulldogs, and Marcella Brooks scored once.

Samantha Silva scored twice for Cimarron.

Valley 1, Eldorado 1 — At Eldorado, Mia Ostler scored on a penalty kick for the Sundevils in a draw with the Vikings.

Gergia Gardner scored for Valley.

Palo Verde 8, Legacy 0 — At Palo Verde, Kassidy Sayles had two goals and an assist as the Panthers blanked the Longhorns.

Olivia Packer, Noah Johnson and Alana Sullivan each scored a goal and had an assist for the Panthers. Reighna Werner and Carlee Giammona also scored for the Panthers.

Goalkeeper Sarah Saxe had two saves in the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 8, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Kaitlyn Carrington had three goals and an assist as the Trojans routed the Rattlers.

Grace Gundacker had two goals for Pahrump, which led 4-0 at the half.

Kathy Niles, Sydney Dennis and Vaniah Vitto also scored for the Trojans. Niles had two assists and Dennis had one assist.
