ROUNDUP: Bernal helps Chargers blank Mountain Lions

Azucena Bernal had a goal and an assist Monday to lead Clark’s girls soccer team to a 2-0 victory over visiting Sierra Vista.

Kealani Chaidez also scored for the Chargers.

Goalkeeper Keri Thacker had four saves to earn the shutout.

Spring Valley 2, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Alyssa Gomez scored with 18 minutes to play to give the Grizzlies the win over the Diamondbacks.

Markie Henderson also scored for Spring Valley, and Peyton Leblue notched two assists.

Kylee Beauford scored for Desert Oasis.

Durango 1, Western 0 — At Western, Itzel Castro scored with nearly 15 minutes left to give the Trailblazers a win over the Warriors.

Hailee Wilson posted a two-save shutout for Durango.

Cimarron-Memorial 4, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Brooke D’Onofrio had three goals and an assist to lead the Spartans past the Desert Shields.

Tessa Sanchez added a goal and an assist for Cimarron.

Jocelyn Vasquez scored for Cheyenne.

Shadow Ridge 5, Legacy 2 — At Shadow Ridge, Taylor Lopez scored twice to lead the Mustangs past the Longhorns.

Vanessa Pena added a goal and an assist, and Brittany Baham and Mackenzie Espiritu each scored a goal apiece for Shadow Ridge.

Ariana Carmona had two assists for the Mustangs.

Legacy’s Taylor Eversole had a goal and an assist, and Shatiana Banks added a goal for the Longhorns.

Bishop Gorman 10, Bonanza 1 — At Bonanza, Charlotte Brascia had three goals and two assists to help the Gaels beat the Bengals.

Haley Wingender had three goals and an assist for Gorman, which got one goal each from Ashlee Beckwith, Katie Turner, Lynsey Ng and Isabella Sorrentino.

Alexandra Ocon notched three assists for the Gaels.

Lety Ibarra scored for Bonanza.

Palo Verde 9, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Alyssa Kleiner tallied two goals and an assist to help the Panthers rout the Rattlers.

Jordan Fleming, Lauren Kaskie and Bri Stutz each added a goal and an assist for Palo Verde.

Kori Jeffries, Alex White, Sila Tuiofea and Victoria DeWitt also scored for the Panthers.

Stacie Gubler was in goal to pick up the shutout.
