ROUNDUP: Diego feeds four assists to lead Silverado to share of Southeast lead
Devin Diego notched four assists Tuesday to help Silverado’s boys soccer team move into a tie for first place in the Southeast League with a 5-0 win over visiting Liberty.
Michael Maldonado, Dakota Hallaway, Ken DeRamos, Julio Hermoza and Oscar Guzman each scored a goal for Silverado, which matched Tech at 5-0-2 in league play.
Vicente Gomez and John Hallaway combined on the shutout for the Skyhawks.
Basic 3, Foothill 2 — At Basic, Junior Valdez had two goals and an assist to lift the Wolves past the Falcons.
Weston Crum also scored for Basic.
Christian Volesky had one goal for Foothill, which also took advantage of an own goal.
Del Sol 4, Green Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Jose Osorio scored a pair of first-half goals to lead the Dragons past the Gators.
Jesse Romero and Eric Bell added a goal apiece for Del Sol, and goalkeeper Gerardo Mendoza earned the shutout.
Sunrise Mountain 2, Valley 2 — At Valley, Sal Martinez and Eddie Flores each scored a goal as the Vikings earned a draw with the Miners.
Sunrise Mountain’s Fidel Hernandez and Juan Pena scored one goal each.
Desert Pines 3, Rancho 2 — At Rancho, Victor Favela scored twice, and Sergio Gonzalez added a goal as the Jaguars edged the Rams.
Juan Acosta and Brandon Contreras each tallied a goal for Rancho.
Eldorado 7, Chaparral 0 — At Eldorado, Luis Cruz scored three goals, and Onofre Mesa added two goals and two assists as the Sundevils blanked the Cowboys.
Danny Magana and Eric Loaiza added a goal apiece for Eldorado.
Daniel Perez earned the shutout for Eldorado.
Canyon Springs 0, Las Vegas 0 — At Las Vegas High, the Pioneers and Wildcats played to a scoreless tie.
Las Vegas’ Roger Zaragoza and Canyon Springs’ Sixto Lucero were in each goal to record a shutout.
Mojave 11, Moapa Valley 1 — At Overton, Benjamin Soto scored three goals, and Travis Cunningham and Jonathan Ferreyra added two goals apiece in the Rattlers’ rout of the Pirates.
Alex Almarez supplied a goal and two assists, and Danie Garcia, Noe Garcia and Faustino Ramirez also scored for the Rattlers.
Niels Holm tallied Moapa Valley’s goal.

Virgin Valley 3, Moapa Valley 2 — At Mesquite, Stephanie Rivera’s goal with 13 minutes remaining lifted the Bulldogs past the Pirates.
Carson Bryant scored twice for the Bulldogs.
