ROUNDUP: Durango shuts out Western

Amanda Lopez and Janie Bordinhao each scored two goals Wednesday as Durango’s girls soccer team blanked host Western, 4-0.

The Trailblazers led 1-0 at the half before Bordinhao scored consecutive goals to break open the game.

Skye Allen and Erna Husic combined on the shutout.

Sierra Vista 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Kristen Parr scored two goals to lift the Mountain Lions past the Chargers.

Jonnette Cabral also scored. Terryn Brown made 14 saves to earn the shutout.

Spring Valley 7, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Salena LeBlue had two goals as the Grizzlies downed the Diamondbacks.

Nelly Ayala, Julia Kearns, Diza Parker, Samantha Reed and Nicole Snytsheuzel each added a goal for Spring Valley.

Heather Cantrell scored for Desert Oasis.

Bishop Gorman 3, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Megan Wasiak scored all three goals as the Gaels shut out the Bengals.

Alexandra Holland got the shutout for Gorman.

Rancho 8, Desert Pines 1 — At Rancho, Jahmela Muhammad had three goals and an assist as the Rams built a 5-1 halftime lead and cruised.

Megan Aoyama added two goals for Rancho. Alyssa Williams, Cindy Hernandez and Stephanie Apodaca had one goal each, and Fallyn Rollins had four assists.

Jenny Martinez scored for the Jaguars.

Las Vegas 2, Canyon Springs 0 — At Las Vegas, Aubriana Rodriguez and Lea Rohan each scored a goal and Jamie Nelson got the shutout as the Wildcats beat the Pioneers.

Eldorado 1, Chaparral 1 — At Eldorado, the Sundevils and the Cowboys played to a tie.

Alexis Sama scored on an assist from Katie Comeno in the first half for Eldorado.

Jessica Fadgen scored on a free kick in the second half for Chaparral.
