Roundup: Felicity Reimann helps Foothill shut out Liberty
Felicity Reimann made seven saves to help Foothill’s girls soccer team hold off visiting Liberty for a 1-0 win on Thursday afternoon.
Amber Vokoun scored Foothill’s goal midway through the second half on an assist from Jessica Carnahan.
Coronado 1, Green Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Makenna Curcuru converted a 22-yard free kick in the 60th minute to lift the Cougars over the Gators.
Taylor Book recorded the shutout with three saves.
Basic 4, Silverado 2 — At Basic, Allyson Lieber had a hand in all of the Wolves’ goals, scoring twice and assisting twice, in a victory over the Skyhawks.
Sydnie Hopkins and Mylah Bodison also scored for the Wolves.
McKenzie Papa and Kayla Meyer each scored for Silverado.
Boulder City 3, Del Sol 1 — At Boulder City, Rebecca Smith scored two goals to lead the Eagles past the Dragons.
Keely Alexander added a goal for Boulder City, which led 2-0 at halftime.
Joselyn Lagunas scored for Del Sol.
Sierra Vista 2, Durango 0 — At Durango, Michaela Budnick and Adrienne Hallock each scored a second-half goal to lead the Mountain Lions past the Trailblazers.
Juliana Isaziga and Kayla Sanguinetti each had an assist for Sierra Vista.
Jamie Kalaau-Sunia recorded the shutout.
Bishop Gorman 6, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Jaden Terrana had a hat trick, and Gianna Gourley added two goals to lead the Gaels by the Bengals.
Marissa Garcia also scored, and Samantha Nieves had two assists for Gorman, which led 2-0 at halftime.
Hannah Lee and Kirsten Kircher split the shutout.
Desert Oasis 7, Spring Valley 0 — At Desert Oasis, Endya Scott had two goals and an assist, and Audrey Dunn added one goal and three assists to power the Diamondbacks by the Grizzlies.
Ashley Wood had two goals for Desert Oasis, which also got goals from Kaitlynn Mallett and Alexandra Houston.
Kelsey LeBoeuf and Emily Levy split the shutout.
Virgin Valley 5, Desert Pines 1 — At Mesquite, Rainee Brito scored three times to lead the Bulldogs over the Jaguars.
Kallie Graves had a goal and an assist, Katie Zuniga scored and Madison Cheney had two assists for Virgin Valley.
Lizuly Mireles-Gutierrez scored for the Jaguars.
Moapa Valley 4, Somerset-Sky Pointe 2 — At Somerset-Sky Pointe, Christie Eriksen scored two goals to lead the Pirates past the Eagles.
Ashlyn Western and Kilee Fisher also scored for Moapa Valley, which led 3-0 at halftime.
Isabella Robins scored both of the Eagles’ goals.
Tech 8, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Joleen Alvarado and Devina Gallegos each scored two goals as the Roadrunners rolled past the Cowboys.
Alysia Mestas had one goal and three assists, Adriana Carillo had a goal and an assist, and Samantha Elliott and Valerie Webb each scored one goal for Tech, which got three assists from Emily Sepulveda.
Goalkeeper Chloe Dody kept the clean sheet for the Roadrunners.
