ROUNDUP: Lopez lifts Shadow Ridge girls in shutout of Panthers
Taylor Lopez’s second-half goal Wednesday was all the scoring Shadow Ridge’s girls soccer team needed to post a 1-0 win at Palo Verde.
Dallas Gunny recorded the shutout in goal for the Mustangs.
Liberty 3, Basic 2 — At Liberty, April Ficarotta scored twice to lift the Patriots over the Wolves.
Valentina Czrk also scored for Liberty.
Tristan Radley had a goal and an assist for Basic, which also got a goal from Sophia Estremera.
Coronado 3, Foothill 3 — At Foothill, Katherine Ballou tallied a goal and an assist as the Falcons scored twice in the second-half to earn a tie with the Cougars.
Myriah Epino and Alyssa Gamboa each supplied a goal for Foothill.
Kathleen Cuevas had a goal and an assist for Coronado, which also got goals from Kara Kopolow and Madison Thompson.
Las Vegas 1, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Adriana Domingo’s first-half goal accounted for all of the scoring in the Wildcats’ win over the Rams.
Green Valley 2, Silverado 0 — At Green Valley, Mackenzie Zurcher and Kayla Anderson each scored a goal as the Gators topped the Skyhawks.
Kiyana Lopez made four saves to earn the shutout.
Canyon Springs 3, Valley 2 — At Valley, Diamond Larson had a goal and an assist to help the Pioneers nip the Vikings.
Leticia Godoy and Erica Peleaz-Sanchez also scored for Canyon Springs.
Paige Tarr and Jocelyn Damora scored for Valley.
Arbor View 5, Spring Valley 0 — At Arbor View, Breanna Larkin scored three goals to lead the Aggies to victory over the Grizzlies.
Alexis Pryor and Taylor Gill also scored for the Aggies, and Hayley Fife was in goal for the shutout.
Sierra Vista 6, Durango 0 — At Durango, Sophia Omidiji had four goals and an assist to power the Mountain Lions by the Trailblazers.
Courtney Shay added a goal and an assist, and Jeri Letz also scored for Sierra Vista, which got two assists from Sabrina Mallett.
Cypress Whipple made two saves en route to the shutout.
Eldorado 8, Del Sol 1 — At Eldorado, Madison Granger had two goals and one assist, and Autumn Moore and Kimberly Olivares added two goals each as the Sundevils beat the Dragons.
Vanessa Rojo and Kimberly Tapia also scored for Eldorado, which got four assists from Cristal Mendoza.
