ROUNDUP: Luevanos’ late goal keeps Rams atop Northeast League

Rancho’s Lucinda Luevanos scored on a corner kick in the game’s final minute Thursday to give the Rams a 1-0 road victory over Las Vegas.
Rachael Wiltshire recorded the shutout for Rancho, which maintained a three-point lead over Eldorado for first place in the Northeast League.
Eldorado 2, Valley 0 — At Eldorado, Kayleen Holmstrom and Teresa Barajas each scored a second-half goal as the Sundevils blanked Valley.
Katie Comeno and Chynna Hartmann combined on the shutout.
Desert Pines 1, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Desert Pines, Anna Vides scored on a penalty kick with 17 minutes remaining to lift the Jaguars past Sunrise Mountain.
Elvia Castro made 13 saves to earn the shutout for Desert Pines.
Canyon Springs 1, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Chase Marchello scored on a penalty kick with eight minutes left as the Cowboys rallied to tie the Pioneers.
Jamila Pullum scored on a free kick for Canyon Springs.
Coronado 4, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Nia Moreno scored three goals as the Cougars cruised past the Dragons.
Addison Guida added a goal, and goalkeeper Kaitlyn Fahrner got the shutout.
Silverado 4, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Rachel Cooklin registered three goals as Silverado did all of its scoring in the second half and blitzed the Falcons.
Rosalba Barbosa also scored for the Skyhawks, and Samantha Lewis earned the shutout.
Green Valley 7, Liberty 2 — At Green Valley, Alyssa Rodriguez and Hailey Beekman each tallied twice as the Gators rolled past Liberty.
Kayla Varner added a goal and three assists, and Alex Adams and Gray Taylor also scored for Green Valley.
Paige Terlizzi scored both of the Patriots’ goals.
